Our private pool complex offers a 6 lane pool, kiddie section and diving board section.  The property also includes a covered cabana, basketball and children's playground. 

Membership to the pool is included as part of home owners association dues. Pool keys are obtained from PPM with a reimbursable deposit.

The pool is home to the Hawthorne Stingrays a swimteam that participates in a county-wide summer swim league sponsored by the Tarheel Swim Association (TSA). Competitive meets run for six weeks on Tuesday evenings in the summer, with daily practices beginning in the middle of May.

All neighborhood children aged 4-18 are welcome to join the team regardless of how well they swim.  This is an awesome way for children to develop excellent swimming skills and for families in the community to develop friendships.  Registration is usually in April and is announced in the Hawthorne Happenings newsletter.
Private swim lessons are available, for a fee, and are posted at the pool by participating instructors.

The clubhouse can be reserved for a $50 deposit by contacting Nancy Tidwell at PPM.  Keep in mind that other residents may be using the pool during your event as your reservation only provides exclusive use of the clubhouse.
