The Ladies of Hawthorne is a group of women in the neighborhood who gather each month for friendship, fun and the enhancement of our community. 

The group coordinates all of the neighborhood events that help make Hawthorne such a special community.  These events include the Valentine's Dinner, Easter Egg Hunt, July 4th Bike Parade and Pool Party, Oktoberfest, Halloween Costume Parade, a Fall Auction, a Santa Visit and Caroling and several summertime pool parties.  These activities are powered by the energy of Ladies of Hawthorne volunteers.  All of the activities as well as the holiday decorations that adorn our community each year are funded by money raised by the Ladies of Hawthorne and are not subsidized by the Homeowners Association.  Dues are $15 per year and all households in the neighborhood are encouraged to contribute.

The group meets at various neighborhood homes on the second Monday or Tuesday of each month (September through May).  Any lady living in the neighborhood is encouraged to join us.  Meetings are announced in our monthly Hawthorne Happenings newsletter and are posted in the sign case at the neighborhood entrance.
